Art, Where dreams are born!
Hi everyone, I am 61 years old and pretty much a novice in the 3D world of art. My son introduced me to Daz Studio and I found Renderosity from there. I love art, it is just something I have dabbled in ever since I was a child. I am self taught and love this 3d venue, I am partial to the fantasy world as you will find out and I have an affinity for Faeries. I've also started to dabble in Native American Characters. I love photography and I will often set my photos as backdrops for my creations. I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I enjoy bringing them to life. Thanks to everyone for the opportunity to have a place to show them off.

This is a very nice fairy picture. Well done and nicely posed. Here are some suggestions that may help in later pictures... (hope you don't mind!) Your characters suffer from 'jaggies' (jagged edges due to a low resolution image). When you paste it onto your background it really shows and is distracting. You can minimize this a couple of ways: - When rendering, try for the highest resolution your computer can handle. This will be slower and result in a larger filesize picture, but will look much better later. - When rendering, change the background color to a color closer to your background. The edges should blend in more. - When saving your render, save to a .png file (if possible). When you paste it onto a background, only the rendered character will show, and you won't have to try to remove any gray or black background. I hope I didn't offend you with my suggestions, but I think you've got a real talent for your pictures, and by trying out some of these methods I think you'll see a real difference in your end result.
