Description

Down by the pond again, by the big road puddle. This isn't a very good frog shot but I thought it was a good way to show off the surreal effects distorted water can have on light and reflection. Just having a camera around makes me see things differently -- there is no fucking way I'd have noticed this tiny scene if I hadn't had one. Postwork: It was given a slight sepia tone because I thought it looked cooler that way. I also did a soft light layer thing and got rid of some grain in the background. I'm sorry I haven't been thanking you for your comments lately. Thanks for your kind words on my last few images. . . well, on every image. Special thanks to those who are actually specific and not just all "wow, cool shot lol".

Ironic isnt it ^^ Really like that you can only see the one eye properly and the colours are all pretty cool too, they work in a weird autumnal way ;) I'm looking at a square crop of this from the right... puts the eye in a better position compositionally imo and gets rid of the negative space, which i think works in such a high impact picture. oh and: ooo wow, wonderful shot! (which it is actually: nice use of diagonals) ;)

I like it. You probably find diagonal more exciting than hor./vert.
