Description

Hello! This little Redstart was suddently in our patio and it tried to get out, but bumped against the windows and got dizzy. At last I was able to catch it and set it free, but it was too scared of flying, so I placed it in a little flower bed outside. It was gone after an hour. But I will tell you a funny story about my son. (the one you saw in yesterdays upload) One Autumn day on his way to work he was waiting for the bus. There was a little open shed of glass. He was alons there and suddently a little bird bumped into the glass and fell down. My son kept an eye on the bird and more people arrived for the bus. They didnt see the bird in the corner. Now they were 4-5 people near the bus stop and my son saw, that the little bird moving a bit. He went to take the little bird. Warmed it in his hands and people started to be interested in what he had there. Then he opened his hands and the little bird stood up and then it flew away. All the people was stanging with open Mouth and the Jaws on their breasts. I wonder if they thought, they found the new Messiah LOL! My son geve people a smile and entered the comming bus.:) Thanks for having a look and for your kind comments to yesterdays post. A special thank to those who added it to their favorites. Have a lovely day. We have very mild weather with a little clouds too. :)

This is simply wonderful, Helle! What beautiful light and crystal clear detail! The flowerbed that the redstart is sitting in really adds a lot of charm and you have shown me another bird that I have never seen in person! wonderful shot and narrative, and so glad he got away safely.

I stopped by for only a minute, and boom: I see an image dedicated to me! Sorry I missed it yesterday—I am flattered and honored! But your story is beautiful: Your son helped bring a bird back to consciousness. I'm not surprised, as he takes after his mother. I found a bird in winter years ago. I picked it up and held it in my hands, blowing warm air on it because it was shivering. But as soon as I opened my hands, it flew away! The bird should've stayed still: It was freezing out! But in your son's case, it should've flown away: Your son revived it so it could fly away...It's a beautiful picture because the redstart is surrounded by bursts of blue; and you captured its feathers in beautiful detail. (Full-size a must!) A loving capture, a wonderful story, and thank you for the dedication—I was stunned to see my name in your title. My mother always told me: "Always associate with terrific artists: They'll rub off on you!" Glad to follow her advice. Many thanks, Helle. And thanks for another lovely image.

The redheart bird sitting in that beautiful blue lobelia flower bed is beautiful... Love it and esp how your son picked it up...gave it a little TLC and off it flew... Maybe one day he will return to the scene and also remember the one who gave him some TLC Great capture Hugs Susan~
