Description

....this is Pepper's Baby picture, he has since grown to 173 pounds due to a thyroid condition. Due to his size(not fat), he will be having his third knee surgery this year! His last surgery cost me my Nikon D200 and long lense. If I don't post for a while, you will know that I had to sell the rest of my cameras! People think that I am crazy for sacrificing so much for a dog.How can you not sacrifice for a being that has been so loyal and provided so much love and joy! As long as Pepper is happy and pain free, my life will be complete. Hopefully his other knee will hold out till next Friday when he has his surgery.

What an adorable shot. I feel the same way you do about animals. They are family. Good for you! A great photo and an important lesson for us all. I always vote for life if I can help it happen--even when it means sacrifice. Best of luck to you both. And let us know how it goes.

What a fabulous shot of Pepper, I am so sorry he has health problems, I can see why you would sacrifice anything for him, I would too for my cats, pets are for life. I believe he has the best home he could have, such a companion. My best wishes, and sending hugs.

Absolutely adorable image! And I can't say I blame you for your sacrifices for him. They rely on us for pains they can't voice. You've managed to capture such a sweet pose and expression! I hope all the best for his recovery!

Awwwwwwwww he is adorable and I understand a pet is like your baby, of course you have to give it treatment, you can always buy another camera down the track but a pet with its own personality no you cannot :)
