Description

My friend kindly picked me up yesterday in her car, it was a beautiful day, sun shining, the tide was high, so we went to a golf club for coffee and a good old chat lol We went for a drive and came across these heifers at Noirmont, which is a beautiful place to visit. When we first saw them they were clustered further down the field but then decided to move off in single file, I can only assume it was dinner time. Beautiful cows. Thank you for your comments and views Susan

Excellent shot. Good line through the shot with the cows and the backside is an expressive side. :-)

Excellent capture! Having lived on a farm most of my life you are probably right, usually the only other time they do that is milking time. I like the light and shadow on the grasses, very nice!

I am glad you took this when you did Susan, I can see the rear cow is starting to lift it's tail, not a good sign, especially when you have your head tucked into its flank doing the milking by hand as I used to do. Roflmao. I can also see the electric fence to keep them in, I came across one of these for the first time down in Somerset, where I was staying on a farm whilst working on the M5 Motorway in 1971. I was helping the farmers two sons to fetch the cows in for milking, the joker of the two told me he had switched it off. I grabbed hold to cock my leg over to go and get the cows, he lied. It isn't a nice feeling at five in the morning to get a belt off one of those. Lol. Excellent capture, well spotted and very well timed. Bravo!!!!!

Hi Susan, this makes me feel homesick and I only saw a field of them this afternoon! Weird to see your environment on here. But nice! Great shot!
