Description

well this is the very first showing of this image. I have been working on this shot as a competition entry under the theme of poetry. not sure if i have pulled it off ok but im sure you good folk will advise me of any changes required. shot on a minolta 5D, sony 18/70mm lens, tripod mounted at iso 100, f16 and 4 second exposure. reworked in photoshop cs 2 using nik pro efex 2 filters (lighten/darken centre) and also put through lucis art filters. hope you like it, all the best, Clint

Love the composition. It fills the mind with images. Monks copying text. A journal kept during a long voyage. Secrets kept in a diary. Thanks for sharing it.

very nice work and (IMHO) does reflect the theme very well. (...the only thing i could possibly think of, would be a different object e.g. a book shelf or picture, instead of the wall) well done!

advice is free, so I can give you that... great looking feather, book, cork candles... It gives you the feel of before BIC pens were invented, posibly 1500-1700... however... the wall and the counter are definately modern times... If you want to achieve an earlier era, definately change the table and wall... other than that, it looks good.
