Something a bit different. The Scrabat (ie Walrus) coming home after a hard search....

The Walrus was ubiquitous during WWII for catapault-launched applications and general SAR - 740 of these critters were made between 1936-1944! They were slow and ugly as sin but many a rescued Allied pilot thought they were the most beautiful thing they'd ever seen. Really nice modelling and composition here!

Interesting subject, though i think you mean "Shagbat" ? Ralph Richardson actually served in one, as did Laurence Olivier - maybe that was just in the film ?
