Description

After many problems with Poser 7 SR3 I am finally back in action. I had to delete all things done with SR3 to get back to normal. Reverting back to SR2 didn't do the trick, I had to delete and redo all the props and PZ3 files I made in SR3 to get them to work properly. I did have troubles with some old faves too. Including some stuff I purchased from Blackhearted, so it wasn't just new stuff I created that was having major render issues. And I have never had anuy problems with Blackhearted's stuff. So be for warned, you might encounter serious problems with SR3. On the lighter side when I could get it to render it looked much nicer then the SR2 renders. I am one of those people that has no choice I ahve to use "Render as a seperate process" or even SR2 will not render. So the problem may be limited to those of us that have to do that or it may even be limited to only some of us that have that problem. Any way the techs at poser are hard at work trying to discover what is causing it. This is just an early start on the new beach set to see if everything is working ans so far so good :-)

This looks great! It totally sucks all the problems you have been having! I think I am going to adopt the same policy for Poser updates as I do Microsoft OS. Wait a while before I upgrade. I lucked up and did not have a problem with sr3(that I know of as yet - but I have been on a hiatus from creating Poser content too so who knows what when I start back).

I had problems with SR1 but later it worked OK. It just plain did not work. Later I was OK but it led to a two fronts approach that left some things on my old computer that were newer and some things on my new computer that were older. This item is a watershed.

I had other problems as well with exporting in obj format, a problem only content makers would have, but it was not local to my machine and they are working on the problem.

I gave up on trying to get Poser 7 to run.... Used it until a couple of Updates from Microsoft knocked it out.... Back on Poser 6 ... ( at least I can get it to load a figure) Nice work on the beach!!!

Wow, not THIS is one I have to keep up with. My Aranee series has a beach scene in the future and that craggy rock and water look like they may be a perfect fit! Glad you're getting through your techie issues - been having quite a few myself. Nothing that a decent new PC couldn't provide sigh.
