Description

Both Eddie Hill and Tommy Ivo campaigned twin engine dragsters like this back in the '60s. Tommy "TV" Ivo later went on to build a four wheel drive, four engine dragster (but I figured that be too much work to do in 3D). Eddie's twin engine dragster featured twin slicks out back as well. So I'm basing my dragster on Eddies, even though ALL my reference material is pictures of Tommy's rail. Here's a few test renders...

We can now see it is a stressed block rail frame attached to the water outlets of the block and the coupling. Folks are so trusting of untested structural features. Interesting to see where folks come from as they migrate in brand development. Eddie Hill was the name of someone in the high school class before me. He became the grease rack guy and car washer at the local ford agency and later joined the Army at Fort Hood. So I watched Eddie Hill as he appeared on TV and wasn't he the first to use tiny front wheels? This one is before that.
