Darius Lizard character by Halcon 89, for M3. Thank you again, Halcon, for allowing me the use of your character. The story goes thusly, the now poor ex-prince Rudolf von Doomkopff thought he had it all. He was accustomed to all the finer things in life all of his life. He came from a fairly ancient line of nobility and had the ego of one such bred. He did, however, make the tragic mistake of pissing off one of the highest ranking fairies in the kingdom. She decided Rudy needed a lesson in humility and cast this spell on him, turning him into the Darius Lizard, making him a pariah of society. He was driven out of his castle, but the spell soon overtook the castle as well and everyone fled in terror of an unseen mysterious force that invaded the premises. No one dared re-enter the castle, except the poor prince, where he returned from time to time to despair and cry for his former luxurious and extravagant life and hurl curses at the fairy that cast the spell on him. The fairy did give the prince an option out of his spell. 'If he ever gave freely from the depths of his heart, an unselfish act of kindness even to the lowliest of creatures, the spell would be broken.' Poor prince Rudy, to be so conceited as to never know how to be compassionate. Will he ever learn?
