Hiya. Lets see. My name is Missy (not Betty). I live in Washington State with my hubby of 26 years and 3 children. My hubby is a lawyer and I'm a stay-at-home mom. I've been into graphics since 1995 and discovered 3-D sometime around the late 90's using a program called Simply 3-D (I think). I rendered the most awesome spheres lol! I was hooked. After following many webrings I discovered a Poser webring and then saw some images that for the time were really neat. I talked my hubby into buying me Poser and that was that. I'm now using Poser 8, Bryce 6, and considering buying Cinema 4D when I can afford it. I love making whimsical images. I love to think someone is smiling or laughing when they view my images. I'll throw in a serious one here and there but whimsical ones are my favorite. I recently took a 3 year break from 3-D, and when I came back I realized how much I missed it in my life. I feel fulfilled again. My only advice to anyone is that if you feel the urge to create--don't stop because you think your work isn't fantastic. I compare myself all the time to the fantastic artists around here and I have to tell myself to stop it daily. Just do your own art and if it makes you happy, remember that is ALL that matters. Thanks for viewing my info! Hugs, Missy

Actually I'm glad that you went tech on us. It gives me more information for when I start doing my own rendering. great image, BTW

Hey, it's a lovely image and works well with the verse. I have made a huge improvement in my rendering, especially with transparent/glassy things by selecting the correct degree of refraction. For diamond (which has the highest degree of light bending, causing its beauty) use a setting of 2.419; water's setting is 1.333 Hope it helps! See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_refractive_indices Have a good and Godly day! Vincent

I agree with the first comment.Never say sorry. It is freedom of speech and expression in art.If I do not believe in what some one else does I do not get offended by if because that is just what they believe and others should feel the same way. I say hats off to you for posting this. I love it !!!

Very Nice job. Try Kerkythea..... Kerkythea is a standalone renderer, using physically accurate materials and lights, aiming for the best quality rendering in the most efficient timeframe. The target of Kerkythea is to simplify the task of quality rendering by providing the necessary tools to automate scene setup, such as staging using the GL real-time viewer, material editor, general/render settings editors, etc., under a common interface. http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/index.php
