Description


This wildflower is called Mexican Primrose-Willow. They seem to like wet marshy areas. I found this one along the bank of a man-made stream/drainage ditch at Wickham Park in Melbourne Florida. Loved how symmetrical it was.

Ahhh, so you live in Melbourne, eh :o) ....I'm surprised you haven't floated away....just heard on the news this morning about how much rain y'all are having and snakes n gators are out swimming in the flooded streets...I'm here in Jacksonville where it's supposed to hit today....wish me ruck :o) Beaytiful flower and perfect capture !
