The lighthouse used to be a huge deal. We'd be out in a boat and it always guided us back to our dock. In my family we grew up fishing near the Barnegat lighthouse, up the coast a ways. Now that I live in the mountains, I just imagine that weekend boaters that don't have GPS on board still count on these. Nice day, and a clear and crisp shot. When we visited the coast, it was very cold, foggy and cloudy.
