Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Hold on whilst I get my sun glasses gal! This has to be taken from the seaward side looking back towards the shore, I can see buildings at the left. I thought at first this can't be a sunrise she's on the wrong side of the country, thats when I noticed the buildings. Excellent capture Marilyn, I like the way the sun beams are shooting out under the pier, great texture also, in the foreground. Out from the pier it looks like a few vehicles have been running around on the sand? or is it just the way the tide as left it? Who knows what you will find on this coming visit? Armed with a new camera! Beautiful work. Bravo!!!!!

Pass the sunglasses....what a blinding blaze of light! Splendid shot, Marilyn. I like the snaky textures at the bottom. Is that sand in the foreground?
