Description

I thought this a pleasant summer capture of two boats waiting for the tide to come in. It was taken at La Rocque in Jersey several weeks ago. The tide at this particular place goes out for over 3 miles and you are left with a scene of an ever lasting view of rocks. When the tide does start coming in in does so with great speed in a horseshoe shape, many people over the years have been caught out, some at their peril. Thank you for your views and comments. Susan

Beautiful photo - those boats look almost tiny compared to those rocks!

Great shot but I feel sad to see them sitting like this. Sort of like a fish out of water, you know? Fabulous shot.

This is a wonderful photo Bessie, we have a beach like there near me in Australia, when the tide goes out for miles all these tiny little crabs are walking around then it comes in at a great speed and is incredible to watch..

my older sister got caught in the Arkansas river without knowing the warning bell had sounded minutes before her arrival that the dam gates were going to opened and she just barely made it out in time your capture is very interesting to me since the tide is not so pronounced on the Texas coast.excellent capture

Wonderful moment! It looks something strange - as if the boats are stranded in the desert.....LOL. a catch at the right time!
