Yep, with all the Olimpic games going on, I could not help it!
So here I am uploading this picture while humming David Bowie's song...
V4 with Yue face morph & textures by Khrys.
Imported into C4D R10.5 via Interposer, posed, etc... and rendered in C4D R11, the Siggraph demo, with GI!
Lighting: 1 spot and a luminous sphere surrounding the scene.
Oh!, I was forgetting, the skin uses the Vreel skin shader in shadow off-set mode -- worked on its gradient to yield this skin-tone... almost there, ain't it ;^).
Cheers,
Stefano

I agree with the above, is it the shader maybe?

Thank You very much for the comments! I investigated the problem with the far too light reflection, which is indeed weird. No it is not due to the shader, it is all my fault! The floor has, in this picture, a luminance channel (50% white) that was meant to contribute to the GI, along with the sphere. It does add its contribution to the reflection, and so... I think the way I set the scene up was a bit too complex and un-realistic. As I said I used a sphere to give GI, but You don't see it, You see the floor and a background-object. I guess Re-working the scene, I got rid of the background replacing it with the sphere itself, and of course of the luminance of the floor. I think I nontheless managed to get illumination for the GI computation from the sphere below the floor by using a compositing tag on the latter and working on the Illumination page of its material. The resulting render had the reflection fixed, I don't know if it's worth uploading almost the same image, though... Cheers, Stefano
