Description
Wildlife has taken over the crumbling remains of skyscrapers and a decaying space rocket stands near. Who knows how old they are but the rocket's hull, some exotic alloy, still shines in places like polished gold.

Vue 6. Most of the hard work was texturing. All original textures on most objects, several of which have 6 or more mixed materials nested inside one another. The plants are modified Vue plants. The gantry and rocket were made with 3DStudioMax 3 (yes, very old!). This has been a project on and off for about 4 months, maybe longer, and is probably the 7th version.
1.3 billion polygons (thanks to the ecosystem).

There are a few errors I need to fix up sometime... sigh :) hehe

Fabulous contrast between the desolate city and the rocket. I immediately think of what will they find? Sweet render for sure!!

Awesome Sci-Fi composition!

Original textures can be time consuming - endless trial and error. The only critique I have is the rocket mat doesn't look too believable. Maybe making it more like that tank would be better. Most everything else looks great.

superb imaginery!

Great idea, I like the colors, even of the rocket. But I canĀ“t believe, a project of 4 months ? Is vue more difficult as Bryce ?

Vue and Bryce are pretty much identical. I did say it was an 'off and on' project... :)

What a unique and creative way to show population zero. Fantastic imagery!
