Across in the DAZ forums there's a bit of a challenge going on to replicate one of the promo images for the new Marie V4 Elite texture. I don't use D|S, so this was my effort in P7. Settings used: Lighting: Key light - a 100% intensity white spotlight at eye level, 45 degrees left. Fill light - 80% intensity white point light at eye level, c70 degrees right Ambient light - HDRFX diffuse IBL directly overhead; intensity 40%, reduced AO to 0.17. I used the standard P7 pond as the HDR image. Pose: Touch of lip centre part, touch of lip edges down Texture modifications: I increased the bump effect of face skin and lips to just under double their default Marie settings. I lightened the specular effects of skin and lips a shade or two, and reduced the specular size a fraction, so the specular is brighter but sharper. I added a 0.05 translucency to the face skin, with a colour just a shade darker than the Marie Fair texture I'm using. Added a 0.40 translucency on the teeth, to get them pearly white. Put a touch of AO into the nostrils (using face_off's OcclusionMaster script form ROsity) Eyes: Used Marie Eyes 2 as the base. Added raytraced eye surface, lash mask and reflection image from deepblue's Eye Maps Gen 4. Reduced the reflection to about 40 per cent. Added the tear from the basic V4 HiRes maps. Render: Didn't mess about - just slid the Firefly autosettings slider as far right as it would go.
