Description

Sevier Co. Tennessee, this one is about a 40 mile drive from my home, and is now an art gallery and coffee mill, they serve some good coffee and yummy desserts, it also has a small used book store added on. One of the young workers running the coffee bar gave me permission to go out behind it and get some photos as long as I didn't let the animals out.. I never saw any animals but I did lock the gate behind me.

Have you ever read a book in Bengali? I wondered if call centers have policy books of standard practice bulletins. Sandskrit is not an equal opportunity. Here the water chute dumps against the face. I don't think the open chute is sloped enough. What do I know? I looked at 1000 foot of head Pelton wheel nozzles in the Mother Lode.

The intensity of color in the mill is striking with the misted tree, etc. behind it. Really pops out that mill. Stunning shot and great pov.

We drove through Sevier County a while back on the way to visit family. The thing I remember most, is the smoke rising from the smokehouses into a morning mist. This photo brings all of that back. The sky is so blue by afternoon. It's vintage Tennessee!

Beautiful place, love the dark blue reflections in the windows. A coffee house with a used books is my kind of place and a great setting for it. Wonderful capture.

I'd kill for a sky like that over my house. Lol. Excellent pov Lynell, it would make a great postcard for the mill coffee shop. Now I may be wrong but I thought the idea of something like this was to show off the wheel. Looking at this and the fact that you had to go through a gate to get this shot seems something wrong in the design layout. The whell is the main feature of a place like this. I know there is that platform at the side there but not many people could squeeze up to view from there. Rant over. Fantastic capture, and its not red either. Bravo!!!!!
