"Well, the thing is, Mr Jonhnson, the electrician's on holiday, the joiner's signed off, and the health and safety officer says we've got to do something about the running tracks 'cause an athlete could slip, graze a knee and sue the city. Realisticaly, we're looking at having it done next October at the earliest."

Lol! I can well imagine that happening here, a bit like the trains being late because the wrong kind of snow was on the tracks. Excellent humour. Well done!
