morning all :o)
another shot from the day out with david .this is in middlesborough town centre alongside the crown courts .its quite a nice area with a lot of open space, fountains, ponds and this thing .i`m not sure i like it but its there so i had to take a pic of it :o)

I like your shot Mick but I can't get used to some of the so called modern art springing up all over, every town centre seems to have one. Having said that I appreciate the artistic value if only as an interesting photo subject. lol I know I sound like I am contradicting my own opinion. I'm with you and Marilyn, if its there take a shot!

Yes it's hard to say why it's there or what it represents. But hey I also have a photo of it so do thousands of other people. So it's a talking point, maybe that is what the artist wanted.

An excellent photographic subject Mick, but I also think it is a great waste of tax payers money. Our council is just as guilty in wasting good money to have litter dropped all over the town. If you as an individual was to put something like this in your garden the would be a letter from the council telling you to remove the eyesore or face prosecution. Still makes an interesting photo though, and as said already a talking point. Great shot mate. Bravo!!!!!

When I first saw the thumbe for this Mick I thought it was tiny but seeing the actual size of it this is one of those works of art that for me is creative and really fun

What interests me is what goes on in these modern artists heads a fantastic shot but have to agree its a waste of space and tax payers money but i would of wanted to take a shot as well superb work hugs lou x
