this image changed so many times - first she had stars coming out of her hand, then it was different stars, then it was something else and something else again. Whew. Took me all weekend to settle on the butterflies and the rose petals. *laughs* i hope you like her!
I used Lydia from 3DArena - one of the things I love about 3DA's female characters is the wonderful body morphs. Beautiful full figures, not the usual stick insects (no offence to those who prefer working with skinnier models) Lydia's skin textures work fine in DS - the usual tweaking etc. Or by using LiquidRust's skin shader - both will give good results.

The butterflies ended up working well for this image. I like the idea of life and transformation that they represent. This is going to probably sound silly, but I'm really impressed with how grounded she looks. Quite often I see images where the character just doesn't look like they're really standing on the ground. Yours is perfectly placed and looks like she has weight and that gravity exists in her world. The colors are vibrant, alive and work well together. The red hair is very powerful, but the large amount of bright blue keeps it from overpowering the image. I know you were concerned about the pearl jewelry, but it really did end up looking quite nice.

this one is definietly worthy! Heh and she is not a stick-bug for sure. P particularly like the vibrant colors and the composition is outstanding. then only note I might make is that the color palatte is very broad - you're using a lot of strong reds, blues AND greens. It might work better if you pulled that together a little more. Oh and whatever the black thing is above the signature block - it's distracting :) Really well done!
