Description

Hello ! Now it is late summer and the little bees will soon die or hide for the winter, so enjoy life, while you can and take pleasure in my Tagetes. Thanks for having a look and for your kind comments to my previous post. Special thanks to those who added my image to their favorites. I do so much apreciate it. :))) Have a splendid day. A grey day this morning but also peaceful, so it is ok with me. Il be back in the evening. We have a long day ahead of us with many hours of driving.

I am one of those who don't like more than a few kinds of Tagetes. Your photo, though, is very beautiful. One and one the flowers are beautiful, especially like here with a bumble bee on top. When I give it a second thought, maybe the smell of Tagetes is what I don't like the most.

full-size, the flower looks like plush silk or taffeta, or even some delicate roasted vegetable leaves (!). But the insect is captured with wonderful detail especially in its hairs. And you captured it deep in the act of feeding. Another intimate moment from your eye; or as Suzanne says, a glimpse into a "world of often unnoticed wonders". (I've been quoting her a lot lately. I hope she doesn't sue!) Wonderful as always, and a revelation.
