a black cloud of chaos as thoughts darken.
once we drank of innocence,
wide-eyed and untainted,
but your thirst soured.
a feverish pool of blood -
memories follow death, follow darkness,
love ground to dust.
in a torrent of vengeance,
I condemn you.

Wow, not only is that a deep dark image, the poem brutally matches it. Both are extremely finely crafted. Even if the woman had been put against a pure black background it would have been a stellar portrait, but put into the scene it is beyond belief "beautiful" What awesome postwork you did here. I'm putting this one in my archives.
