Description

Three Shires Head is where the counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire & Derbyshire bump into each other. I spent a few hours there yesterday morning, so will be sharing a few shots over the coming days, before I return to Scotland next week. This image is HDR, created from three auto-bracketed RAW files. Landscape photography courses / holidays www.berniestafford.com

Look forward to sharing more shots of this area..very near my home, near Leek. We used to take children and dogs to this spot in the middle of the Staffordsire Moorlands, which is a rich area to explore. Great capture which brought back happy memories. Thank you. Jean

What a lovely image! The composition is just great and the slow water is dreamy. Wonderful colors as well. Very well done, indeed.

Saw your shot posted today and saw it was a 2nd of two... i prefer this one as the composition flows a lot better. Nice job on getting the tonal ranges from the HDR with no haloing and the silky water looks really nice - but it does seem to lack a certain amount of contrast - whether that is lack of sharpening on resize or not i dont know. :)
