Lors de notre journée passée à Belle-Île-en Mer, nous avons loué une voiture.... de collection. C'était la seule qui était disponible!
Il s'agit d'une 204 Peugeot construite en 1965 ... superbe!
Le volant était gros comme celui d'un camion, il fallait avoir des bras très musclés pour ouvrir les fenêtres et le klaxon faisait un bruit d'enfer!
Nous nous sommes amusé à klaxonner tous les vacanciers, ce qui nous a permis d'avoir beaucoup de saluts amicaux et de bien rire!
Sur cette île, tout le monde admirait notre voiture d'un jour... il faut bien rêver, non?
Je dédie cette photo à Mickeyrony, si adorable et amateur de voitures anciennes. Lui qui en offre à tout le monde mérite bien la sienne. J'espère qu'il sera heureux de ce cadeau!

When we spent a day in "Belle-Île-en-Mer", we rent a car....A collection "vintage" one. It is a Peugeot 204 that was created in 1965...Wonderfull !The steering-wheel was as big as a truck one, You must have musculars arms to open the windows and the horn had a "Hell song" !
We had fun to horn at everyone and we got many sympatic "hello" from all. Everybody was looking at our "one day car"...It's a nice dream, isn't it ?
This pict is a tribute to Mickeyrony, so gentle and "amateur" of old cars. He often dedicates cars to everybody, so he deserves his own car. I hope he will enjoy it.

It reminds me at my youth.... Between 1969 and 1979 every young person here in Germany have to had a french car - a Renault 4, a 2CV or a Peugeot like this one here. I remember well. The german version had to have white frontlights..... Wonderful times....my oh my.... Great present for Mickeyrony!! Excuse me, Mike, we are so free to have a look at your present - I hope this is not a problem....LOL Thanks for sharing, janiss!

Marvellous Peugeot 404. I adore these cars. And you know my Beautiful Janis. I led about any kind of case lol ..... I find that of value that in Canada it do not take any more French cars . They had a whole seal of nobility. Peugeot Renault and Citroen. Large wheel but you can have something with large in the hands for a woman It is like fills it and to have a good gears suffit to have ltheeappotéose of a superb output. You know it is always with covered words. By hoping to return the great smile to you that I carry my Beautiful now. Pout pout Eueueu ....... Pout pout Eueueu ....... ((5++)) Merveilleuse Une Peugeot 404 .J'adore ces voitures. Et tu sais ma Belle Janis .J'ai conduit à peu près tout genre de caisse lol..... Je trouve cela de valeur qu'au Canada il ne prennent plus de Françaises .Elles avaient tout un cachet de noblesse . Peugeot Renault et Citroën. Gros volant mais tu sais avoir quelque chose de gros dans les mains pour une femme c'est comme le comble et avoir un bon embreillagessuffit pour avoir l'appotéose d'un rendement superbe . 1965, I had just past my test in Novemeber of that year and held a driving licence for the first time, it would be a couple of more years before I could afford to buy a car of my own. I started driving a van delivering parcels and that is where I got my experience. So much easier then to get driving jobs. It must have been nice driving this beautiful car Janiss, all the heads turning to watch you pass by. I can imagine many more people taking photo's of it than just you. Excellent capture and a wonderful dedication. Bravo!!!!!

I seldom see French cars here but Peugeot and CITROEN is available here.both are expensive cars. I bet you enjoyed driving a classic.when I was young , I had classic cars 55&57 Chevrolets but no one told me they were "classics". I was happy to have a car to drive and be independent of others.excellent captures Janis
