Another colour test. This is the first time in a long time that I draw Ariel's sword unsheathed. The truth is she very rarely does. She isn't really good with it, and her magic is much more reliable ;P As you can see, it's a pretty badass rapier made from red steel. This is a fantastic metal, which, as far as I know, only exists in the Savage Baronies and the lands around (in the world of Mystara, that is). It has many incredible properties, most of them still unknown, but just the fact that it's less dense and much more resistant than steel makes it very valuable. Carrying a weapon or an armour made from it is a symbol of status. As for the drawing, I have been experimenting with light for a while. This time a very dark scene to make the lights stand out more. I also limited my palette. And for a change with a background, crappy but it's still there ^_^ Thanks for watching. Comments are always welcome :D
