Great macro. I love his expression. Whenever I see insects up close and personal like this, I'm fascinated. I always wonder what they must think of us. Beautiful colors and nice composition and your timing for capturing this shot was perfect.

It amazes me that what's such a pest here in the US, is so pretty! We have them all over around here, and they are voracious eaters of leaves. Apparently the grubs do their share of damage as well to lawns and such. I love the irridescnet green of their shell .. or whatever it's called. Very cool picture, you can see the benefit of having more then two legs, LOL!
