Count them...eight reins. In this age of the automobile and truck, we don't often get to see how one horse, let alone eight horses are hitched up to pull a wagon. Here's the expert driver for the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. If you've ever seen this spectacular team of horses in person or in an advertisement, you'll also recognize the Dalmatian at his master's side. I'm not sure how a coach dog was employed, but that must be his role too. Went to the annual airshow today in Kansas City, Missouri and saw a tremendous show. I took more than 400 pictures, many in the burst mode, which I'll share a few of the best of with you in the next few days. However, the hit of the show for me was the travelling Budweiser team. The team includes eight Clydesdales, a bright red antique beer wagon, expert grooms, the wagon driver, the dog and all are carried on three handsomely painted 18 wheel tractor trailer trucks.
