Description

While in the famous cemetary, Pere Lachaise in Paris, we came across a really "different" tombstone. Credit for the photo goes to my wife, she took the photo even though she said she was creeped out.

Whoa! I had to research this guy...he was a poet & novelist who was born in Belgium and lived in Paris. Also,.he's holding a rose.......great shot..thanks for bringing it to us. I love this site - I am always learning something new!

Thanks for the update mgtins, I didn't notice the rose. There are a bunch of "famous" people buried here, we didn't get to see them all because in Paris, once it hits 6pm (18:00), a lot of places close. We probably spent a good 4-5 hours and only saw a fraction of the entire place.
