I was looking around and found DAZ. It has become my recent hobby. I don't really have a background in art, but I have always liked to draw and this seems like a good extention of that. Sometimes it seems like I could draw faster than working in 3d, but I believe they both have their pros and cons. I really like lighting and I am trying to get better at that. Cinema 4d has a better material / lighting engine than DAZ but I like the 3d characters in DAZ. I am married and have a couple beagles, they do keep me busy in the summer. Other hobbies include sports, I play ice hockey, pretty much year round, and I enjoy tennis and some other sports as well. Thanks for checking out the art. Element

Whoa! I had to research this guy...he was a poet & novelist who was born in Belgium and lived in Paris. Also,.he's holding a rose.......great shot..thanks for bringing it to us. I love this site - I am always learning something new!

Thanks for the update mgtins, I didn't notice the rose. There are a bunch of "famous" people buried here, we didn't get to see them all because in Paris, once it hits 6pm (18:00), a lot of places close. We probably spent a good 4-5 hours and only saw a fraction of the entire place.
