Description

Sorry I've not commented on your galleries yet as often this week as I've been ultra busy. Luckily after tomorrow I'll have more free time. I spent the day rendering more experiments in Vue in the background while I worked on chores--thanks to your supportive comments I'm intent on learning this new software. I've always been a fan of Louise Gluck's poem, All Hallows. And it's getting to be that time of year. Here's a link in case you're curious. I love this time of year and the landscape I see each fall, and for some reason I needed to get these memories out of my system tonight. Thanks for looking. I'll be back on Wed to catch up on your galleries. Thanks for all the favorites on my last image--much appreciated and totally unexpected. I almost didn't upload the last one. So, I took a risk again tonight. Unfortunately one thing that happened today was I lost my browser and had to reinstall it among many other files that were corrupt, so, I have no idea who favorited me, but I do appreciate the gesture and for your comments and suggestions as well. There are many memories here... and some symbolism that I will need to absorb - the pregnant moon, for instance. The silhouettes speak volumes... but there's something else...

Nice scene and mood set to the image - I can almost see the subtle breeze rotating the weather vane and hear the creaking moan of the aged timbers! Lovely work!

You are doing well by Vue. I have the sense that you are able to achive a new hight of creative expression with this program. The image/atmosphere are wonderful. My major suggestion is to simply continue and experiment/explore.

Staring at it long enough, I can feel a whisper autumn’s chilling embrace. Desolate and melancholy, the lonely creaking of the night sends a chill up the spine. Very well illustrated!

Wonderful serene mood for this piece. There is a sense of completion here. The day is done, fall is arriving and all is well somehow in the world, if only for that brief moment you captured. Superb!

Wonderful VUE render, Cathy. Love the atmosphere in this composition. The old moon and the starry night looks fantastic. Very good light setting on this. I never sucessfully made a night render:) Great work on this one.
