Description

We took over 500 pictures in the week we spent in Rocky Mountains National Park so it's rather difficult to choose which to post. This one stood out though, with its ocean of clouds falling down through the rifts between the peaks. It was taken at somewhere near 12,000 ft. from Trail Ridge Road. Believe me, it took some time for us flatlanders to even start to adjust to the altitude. I'll get to some of our hiking shots later. I've got about a zillion emails to sift through - mostly posts from 'Rosity so it will take me a while to catch up. Hope everyone's doing well and Thanks for Looking! Ken

Good heavens, I gasp for breath at 10,000!! This is awesome. The tranquility goes with it. Bet there wasn't a rush hour traffic jam up there. :-) Glad you are back. Really.

Oh Bunny, what a beautiful shot. Being in the mountains with the clouds under us was so cool. And you got this shot at the perfect time, the colors are fantastic.

Amazing capture Ken, it looks like it was taken from a plane ! Do they hand out oxygen bottles at the beginning of this road ? Looking forward to more of your adventures in the Rockies ! ~Cheers~

This image seems to be going on forever and ever... it almost looks like a razor-sharp edge, hopefully nobody can fall off, only kidding, Ken. Marvelous cloud formation and good timing by you and what a journey ! BB
