Trees can still look majestic even in death. I love this old dead maple tree. It sets on our friends property, and the last time we was there,at 7 in the morning I had my camera and took this shot. We went home that day with several dungeness crabs. Aren't friends grand:)

Some of my most favorite trees for interest and beauty are dead ones. This whole scene is lovely and the tender touches of light are well placed.
