My heart breaks Pieter ... I know Bull was your special friend and companion. Remember all the good times you two had; out in the bush, at the dam .. and just hanging out at home. :) Remember all them nudges while you spent time online :) And that look she gave you all the time. Oh Piet, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. As you know I am a big dog person and losing such a wonderful animal is very hard. I know Bull had a wonderful life with you. Remember what a good life he had and all the good memories. Many dogs today do not have such wonderful lives and you should feel good knowing you gave him your love always.

Oh Piet, I am in tears for you. She was such a beautiful girl, such a splendid friend and companion, giving you unconditional love and devotion, asking so little in return. You gave each other many wonderful years and much joy. I know the sadness and sorrow you feel now, and right now there is small comfort in knowing that she is at peace, soaring freely in the place where they go to wait for us. She leaves such an empty hole in your life and in your heart, but time does heal the grief, so they tell me. Such beautiful pictures of her, such a wonderful and loving tribute to her. OH my what a sweet face and darling pet I'm so sorry for your loss my nephew lost his dog last year and he was also my friend as every time I went to montreal to vist he would join me with his big long body in the bed ,and such company he was when my nephew would have to go off work I never felt lonely ,so I know what you are feeling and will for sometime: However, easier said than done everyday think of the good times the love,and think of the place his soul is now as I do believe there's a better place for all humans and animals where we suffer no more pain: Smile for him as he would want you to do,my heart goes out to you:big hug!~ wonderful coolage:(may I take it to my favorites?)

I remember your avatar with her and the first time we ever "spoke," it was of her that I inquired. I fell in love with her right away when you told me about her. I offer my sympathy to you for this great loss, although, I know that helps nothing at all. May time pass quickly to mend your aching heart for her. Be well, my friend.

O no Piet, I was afraid that this would happen, and I know how you feel about this lost. It is hard to say goodbye, I speak from experience, we lost our dog a few weeks ago, so I know exactly the heartache it brings, it really brings tears in to my eyes.....on the other hand she is free from pain, and remember all the good days you have shared with her.......it will be hard the coming days, I will pray for you to deal with this lost...I am still in grief and miss my dog Baloe badly

So very sad to lose such a friend--the selfless devotion and unconditional love of pets such as this always leaves such an empty spot in our hearts. It seems so unfair that they aren't given the same years as humans when we miss them so much. Get some rest now, dear Piet, knowing that you did everything you could possibly do and stood by her to the end. She will be waiting for that next safari and happy to see you when you meet again.
