Spreading out
Compass points
filaments of fury
In mighty channels
high and spewing
Crashing down
on nothing
Spent
Impotent.
Bang your drum
No-one can hear
feel the knuckle blood
Taste it, thick, copper.
palms outward
Doesn't work
It drips slowly
and still hurts.
