Description
Done in pastels.
This is a character from the popular video game "Metroid".
It's not really my style, but Samus is kind of special to me.
Years ago, when Nintendo first came out with the Metroid game, "Nintendo Power" magazine hosted an art contest with Metroid as the subject.
I was only about 12 at the time, but sent the best drawing I could. Neadless to say, I didn't win, and I guess I just wanted another stab at drawing the character.
