Description
We stopped quite a bit on our way back from North Dakota last weekend. Whenever there was a pretty view, we'd pull over and hike around. I saw quite a few old churches along the way; here's one I thought was cute .. I loved the clouds in the background. Have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by! Shari

LOL @ Clive! He's right, of course, but I hadn't seen it. This is a wonderful image! I love the pov, and the saturation and color is perfect ... it's so rich ... beautiful! Too bad you were so far from home ... this would be a perfect "Locally Exotic" shot.

The clouds are wonderful. The classic look of this old church are a delight. I see it is built for the more serious of members with no windows out front to tempt distraction during services. Fabulous find and capture.

You know I've photographed churches in the past. Country churches always have enough land around them to look majestic standing amongst the trees. This is a wonderful capture!

This is a wonderful old country church. The kind I went to as a child of the midwest. Where you sat on a hardwooden pew and fanned yourself in the hot summer because it had no airconditioner.

Superb capture Shari, the clouds do add a lot to this image, punch, I think is the word I was looking for. Like piet says, it jumps out at you almost 3D. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
