Interesting render. I've worked with 3D programs and Bryce long enough to know that this is not a Bryce made sky. None of the cloud or atmosphere mats produce the Horse Head Nebula (upper right-hand corner). I'm then under the impression that this is a cut-and-paste render leading one to believe it was all Bryce.

It's a 2d image brought into Bryce. There is a method to do this in Bryce. I place the 2d image in the background and do not let it receive or cast shadows, thus creating the background sky. I only use the Bryce sky presets for lighting and atmosphere purposes.
