In the alternate Marvel universe I RP in, Michael Hoth (aka 'Paws') is the newest member of Iron Man's 50-State Initiative. He was a former scientist for Stark International who lost both arms in an on-the-job injury. As part of his workers-comp settlement, he was given free reign to develop robotic replacement arms. However, Michael became obsessed with his new inventions and began siphoning money from other Stark projects into his own. Once his illegal activities were discovered, he was fired and arrested. However, unbeknownst to anyone, he had already added weapons systems to his new cybernetic arms and quickly escaped. After being tracked down by Iron Man, the two fought until Iron Man gained the upper hand. Because Tony was intrigued by the technology of the cybernetic arms, he offered Michael a plea bargain. Michael would provide the technology to Iron Man (for use in his own armor) and join the Colorado branch of the 50-State Initiative.
