This I took on the beach last week as a veteran was not quite finished but allowed me to take a photo of it anyway as frank gave him a tip (he looked hungry)janiss has a great one up in her gallery and I wanted to share this one with her:

I love it. I also love sand art. Its another way to understand how an artist sees things differently. And that their passion is so strong they will use any medium to make a reality what is in their minds eye. I can only imagine what this mans castles looked like as a child. thank you for sharing Michelle

OMG, someone should help those soldiers out of the mud... or is this an archeological dig site and we're way too late? Oh... a sand sculpture... And a very good one too..! I hope the artist doesn't turn his back for a moment because some mean little kid will come along and jump on it! Then the parents of the spoiled brat will shrug and say "What did you expect? Kids will be kids..". I know because I've done some sand sculptures many many years ago. We know they are temporary but at least let us finish it. The line to destroy it starts on the left.
