Description
Today is my daughter Cheryl's 28th Birthday but she shares Aug29 with someone just as close to my heart.
Today is also my MOTHER LENA's BIRTHDAY. She would have been 83. Its hard for me to take in that mum passed away 30 years in ago Oct 1978.
In this photo mum was 18.
I'm in a hurry to get ready for a train journey down to Watford today to visit Sylvia's son David and his wife Tasha, we will be be doing a tour around parts of the big city London also so I've packed the most important item !(we all know what that is lol)

She was a very beautiful lady Alan, and sad that she was taken before her time, I lost my father in 1960 when I was twelve and my mother in 1980 , there is not a day goes by that I don't think of them. A beautiful photo to remember her by.

At least you have memories which is nice. My Mum passed away in 1971 when I was 4 years old so I never really knew her. I, like you have many precious photo's of her though. Tony.
