a chess-set of the mind, I love how some of the squares are missing and the pieces shine away...an opulent conception with fine light and fine hues, and I like that it sits over a ground that looks a little like the sands of a Japanese rock-garden. I'd have that chess-set on my table anyday...rich and enticing.

This is good, and it's nice to see such an unusually designed checkerboard. But the lighting is a bit too strong, and deepening the shadows might work well here.

Wonderful. Amazed at what blender can do, but to intimidated by it to use it. It sits on my desktop but I have not done anything with it. Great job at modelling the chess pieces. Interesting composition though.
