ah I got back alive form the dentist...lol though it took me 4 hours to get rid of the anesthesia he had to put in (7 of them before he could work on me without me jumping out of the chair) and Harry I tried to smile...lol...but I couldn't until I left the doctors practice... But now to the shot above... Hops hanging out at the backdoor of a farm, where I went last Friday for a day doing the raku brand of my clay sculptures... was a lovely day, but due to the technique, where you put your enameled stuff from the hot oven into a bed of sawdust and cover it up with it to get the enamel to react into wonderful special colors, I was reeking of smoke all over..lol..but its worth the work. And in between waiting for the stuff to process I took my camera and went around the house shouting... the hops is one of the shots...as is "oh the green" which I uploaded earlier and maybe I will upload another one...will see. So thanks for all your sympathies for my dentist date and all the wonderful comments you left

What a wonderful shot! We grow hops in this area of the world, not too far from here, but I've only seen them driving by in the car, never close up. They're fascinating and beautiful - Thanks!

The gracefulness of the curling vine is wonderful and it pops out the hops so well. We have a farm not far away that grows hops but for some reason, not many farms do and they are so interesting to see.

Stellar and subtle shades of green in this magnificent composition! I bet you really hopped to it with your camera when you saw these lovely hops, Ulla! Isn't this the same stuff they use to make beer?
