In the afternoon sun, this spider is very busy to wrap these ladybugs in a cocoon to prepare them for dinner. His web is almost destroyed catching his meal.

Splendid capture! The way the lighting shows the translucency of the spider's body is terrific. I've never seen anything quite like that before. And what a beautiful creature, his colors remind me of a tortoise shell.
