having glanced at some of your works for the first time, I see you have a wonderful combination of serious feeling with uplift and humor. They're not easy to combine, yet you do it very naturally. In this work, the woman is the central character, but she's beautifully surrounded: Your background is this kind of windswept landscape of bent trees & water, with rays of light shooting in and star-dapples everywhere. (Well, they're light buds, but I call them stars because that's just a convenient word.) It's a gentle windswept dreamscape. And your figure seems to be doing ballet. She has nice hues too, silvery with strong darks, set nicely against your background. Your soul may be in the lost and found, but it looks like she's very much alive inside you. It's a very inviting work. I'll return for more...
