he looks very much like a yogi (gurudev?). You've captured the inward tilt of his head, the inwardness of gaze, his beautiful beard (your detailing is exquisite), and the furrowed gaze that shows age, wisdom, discernment, etc. And the monkey is a gentle companion (his color is a nice foil). You must've been on a path. It shows. You do very fine work, bala, with genuine introspection & clarity alike. In your hands, a wacom sings. I'll be commenting on more soon. Quite beautiful...
