Description

Okay, so here's another shot that I kinda like. :) Again, I'm horrible at retaining info for my shots, so I don't know what kind of plane this one is either. I want to thank "bmac62" and "chuter" for the info they provided on my last upload. Very much appreciated. And I do believe they called that plane a Kittyhawk as "bmac62" suggested. So, if anyone knows anything about this plane, please feel free to share your knowledge. :) I do apologize for not having a cool story or some interesting tidbits for these uploads. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for the comments on my last upload. :) Oh, and a little side note to these shots....the one from yesterday was not cropped, that's how I took the picture. I did minor adjustments and blurred some of the distracting parts of the background. Same goes for this image. I cropped the side just a bit to get some of the yellow truck out and blurred the truck, but otherwise it's undisturbed. lol :)

Like your artistic angle of this two seat beauty. From what I can see, you've captured a T-33 Shooting Star. This airplane was built by Lockheed. It was developed from the first operational jet fighter in the USA...the F-80/P-80. The T-33 dates from the 1950s and has been used as a primary jet trainer by dozens of countries around the world. It is still in service in many air forces today.

Those are the tails of two other T33s in the background . . . the one on the left could actually be an F-94 but I don't think PCAM has one of those. That's a Dagger (f102) way back there.

Great image, crisp, clear and clean. Very artistically taken. Perhaps a bit extreme an angle to get the feel of the whole aircraft. But, as a photo in itself, it's great! I was beaten to the draw on the description's ! Damn. Rob
