Description
Today I sold the companion piece to this,"Where Was Superman". I have mixed emotions about this. I'm saddened not to have the piece any longer, but I'm glad/proud that someone else liked the painting enough to puchase it. I suppose I'm feeling a little post-partum depression...

Excellent imagery.

wonderful painting. My mother was an excellent artist, when she died all her paintings and sketches were in attics, under beds, in cupboards most slightly damaged from poor storage...... like when your children becoming adults, yer got to bless them and let them go.

Blows me up, up and away. I'm guessing you spent a lot of your childhood as I did, in your own mind. If I were President I'd have this hanging over me in the Oval Office. Love the orange light on the flag. Wife and I were living in NY when the icons crumbled; she saw the hole from her office window. We were in Tower 1 on business just two days befor 9/11 -- I still have my temp plastic ID with my photo and the date. A few days after we took a walk down there...like a stroll through hell, everyone was like a zombie. The Superman icon, with all the rest--this composition really rocks, my Pope!

Very nice. Nostalgia, capturing a more innocent time, with well balanced color.
