Description

Okay, my Japanese garden photos didn't gather many viewers, so let's see how this series plays out. From what I can determine, these pictures were taken, I know not when, in Riverfront Park near a waterway of Sabine Lake under the MLKJr bridge on State Highway 82 in Port Arthur, Texas, which is close to the Texas/Louisiana border. They were sent to my nephew, Tomas, an environmental manager in Hawaii, from his friend, Jennifer, a freelance marine biologist, who was the photographer. My nephew then forwarded them to me, I did some postwork, got Jennifer's permission to post them, and away we go. Actually, you might label this The Grand Tour. After all his alligator hunting and stalking around Lake Martin, LA, Jock should really like these. Better viewed full size. I wish they had alligator theme music like they had shark theme music in the movie, JAWS. Thankx for the visit, and have a spectacularly stellar Sunday.

Seeing a large pair on film is a rarity. I have seen groups of them from a airboat in Florida including sentinals that swim out to drive off the airboat.

Better elsewhere than here! I can't imagine having to worry about gators at the waterways around here...

Funny, before I read your introduction the Jaws music came into my mind as I was looking the first picture...and you right, there is no "aligator/crock music". Great shot of the this dangerous animal.

These are in the waterways? Oh great. I'll stay here where the threat in the water is mainly leeches.
