Description
In addition to the wonderful landscapes to see from my friend's terrace in France there are good things to see close by. Looking across nearby roofs are these tiles and chimneys of so many different colours. They are such a basic design that must have been used for centuries..simple and efficient. When I looked closely today I saw the nearer pot is probably newer and doesn't have the same charm as the other!

When I have been at first time in London, I have noticed the lovely chymney shapes in this old city. Since the time the chymney lines are in my "viewfinder". Congratulation to this photo and thank you for sharing it.

Yes Marian..Hampton Court has fantastic chimney pots, and in my part of England they are mostly Victorian,,now prized as decorative flower pot holders! when they are rescued after old house demolitionS!!
